Smart solutions from VConsyst for the circular economy
Achieving the goals of the circular economy in 2030 are a major task for municipalities and collection services. VConsyst supports the parties in the waste chain in this with a complete package of products and services. From hardware and software to numerous services that offer municipalities and waste collectors convenience, insight and sustainability.
Digital convenience
Together with Kiwa, VConsyst has introduced the Digital Environmental Pass. A super-secure digital solution (AVG-proof) that offers convenience for municipalities and residents. The digital environmental card also helps to achieve behavioral change among citizens when it comes to waste collection and clean fractions. With both iPhones and Android devices, residents can unlock an underground container. They can also then instantly see information about their deposits and make comparisons with others. Several pilots have begun using this secure digital environmental card.
GFE Cocon suitable for disabled people
VConsyst is continuously improving its product range. Among other things, we are introducing at the RDD a smart solution for GFE waste or incontinence materials, for example, in the form of a Cocon. The Cocon provides space for a 140 or 240 liter mini roll container and is designed with consideration for use by the elderly and disabled. The handle of the throw-in lid is ergonomically placed at 1 meter height. The sleek design masks through a narrow profile the substantial capacity of 240 liters capacity.
Mini container identification
VConsyst supplies and installs vehicle mounting systems that allow chipped mini roll containers on garbage trucks to be checked and even weighed. This system from MOBA Automation is used to keep track of which mini roll containers need to be emptied, or not. VConsyst is the exclusive dealer of MOBA Automation systems for the Benelux.
For ROVA, VConsyst has developed a system that measures the weight when picking up a mini-roll container. Containers with a deviating weight – and thus possibly an incorrect content – can then still be stopped during lifting. This prevents contaminated fractions and thus ultimately provides cleaner raw materials.

VConsyst Service inspects, maintains, cleans and refurbishes
A sizeable fleet of VConsyst trucks is on the road daily to inspect, maintain and clean underground containers. Each year, VConsyst performs more than 60,000 inspections of underground containers, cleans 99,000 systems and provides 65,000 maintenance services.
In addition, VConsyst has been refurbishing containers for a longer technical life for over 10 years. The underground containers are checked and refurbished, giving them a second life. Recent projects on Texel and in the Achterhoek, for example, have resulted in dozens of refurbished containers that will last for years again; a very sustainable solution.
Thus VConsyst, together with the waste chain, is committed to an effortlessly and sustainably tidy living environment.
