New: Incognito module
In recent months, there has been a commotion surrounding the registration of landfill data when household waste is landfilled. This spring, a judge ruled that such registration could lead to an invasion of citizens’ privacy. VConsyst offers a solution: the Incognito module. This module makes landfills privacy-proof.
Go incognito
To ensure that you collect according to the applicable regulations, VConsyst developed the Incognito module. With this module, you no longer collect at plot level, but store data anonymously. You thus retain insight into logistical landfill data, an indispensable link for the optimization of your collection processes.
Non-Diftar municipalities beware!
A large proportion of municipalities currently record their citizens’ landfills without a Diftar target. These municipalities are no longer allowed to store landfill data at the parcel level and must anonymize their data. Incidentally, this only applies to private registration. Business cards are still allowed to be in ‘Diftar mode’ so that settlement can continue.
The steps to be taken
Recently, privacy assurance was discussed in detail at a special meeting of the NVRD. On behalf of industry association KLAIR, Quirijn van Loon (VConsyst) and Thierry van Zandvoort (WSS) mentioned what steps you need to take to act privacy-proof. Implementing the Incognito module is one of them. Curious about the other steps to take? Or would you like to know whether the Incognito module is suitable for your situation?
