Process Engineer

What will you do?
As a Process Engineer, you are responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing (new) production processes within the organization.
As a Process Engineer, you are involved in identifying areas for improvement in the production process, developing new tools, procedures and methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs, and solving technical and operational problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the (continued) adequacy of the (operational) production processes to reliably (quality, safety and effectiveness) deliver the requested products, services and services;
- Assessment of the manufacturability (realizability) of requested products, services and services;
- Complete the process/production side of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process…;
- Identify and analyze inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the production process;
- Develop and implement improvement plans and process optimizations;
- Training employees and providing technical support;
- Substantively directs the work planners of the various production (operational) locations;
As a Process Engineer, you will report to the Manager Business Office.
Who are we looking for?
Our new colleague has:
- A college degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or similar field;
- Experience working in manufacturing environments, preferably in the metalworking industry;
- Knowledge of process optimization and improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma;
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards within the (metal) manufacturing industry;
- Skills in problem solving and analytical thinking;
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders;
- Willingness to travel and flexible working hours.
