VConsyst and Royal Bammens continue together
VConsyst and Royal Bammens join hands. VConsyst Participations acquires 100% of the shares of Royal Bammens. This makes it the market leader in the field of underground waste collection systems in both the Netherlands and Europe. Both companies have found each other in their mission and vision to serve governments and waste collectors even better in achieving their environmental goals.
Innovative solutions
VConsyst provides total solutions for waste collection, sports and recreation, bicycle parking and street furniture. Managing Director Edward Rosendaal: “We are proud to add a royal, 168-year-old company to our group with Bammens. We find each other in our common mission and vision for waste collection and outdoor space. We believe in smart solutions for a world without residual waste. I am convinced that with our experience and investment power we will innovate the public domain.”
At the beginning of this month, the software activities of BSpaaS were added, making VConsyst the market leader in the Sport & Recreation industry as well with its cloud solution VConsyst Access Suite. In September, street furniture manufacturer Jan Kuipers Nunspeet was added to its group. VConsyst sees opportunities to make these products, such as bicycle racks, even smarter through its software and electronics solutions. “Thanks to the merger with Jan Kuipers Nunspeet and Koninklijke Bammens, the product range for the design of public spaces is significantly expanded and VConsyst becomes the market leader in the Netherlands and Europe. As a result, annual sales will grow to more than €75 million at VConsyst,” said Arjen van Dalfsen, CFO Venture Group, VConsyst’s parent company.
Smart city
VConsyst and Royal Bammens hope that by merging the companies, citizens in particular will experience convenience. “After all, making a city smarter not only achieves municipal objectives. Citizens also experience less waste nuisance because, for example, underground containers are always available. The municipality reduces its CO2 emissions at the same time. A win-win situation in achieving environmental goals,” said Ronald Free, general manager Royal Bammens who also indicated that it is good to belong to a group with a clear vision, strategy and so much entrepreneurial spirit for their common future.
Total solution: everything from a single source
The joining of forces of Jan Kuipers Nunspeet, Koninklijke Bammens and VConsyst creates a party with over 250 employees that is even better able to furnish the public domain. From waste bin to professional bicycle parking, everything comes from one hand.
