Sales Engineer
As a Sales Engineer at VConsyst you will bring technical expertise and customer focus together within the tender team You will be responsible for assessing technical requirements within a tender based on the menu, and liaising with Sales, Development and Business Office as necessary. You will support account managers and the bid manager with technical expertise and relieve the development department of initial customer requests.
Your duties and responsibilities:
- Analyze technical requirements from tender documents and customer requests and determine if and how they can be met within the current standard product portfolio (“menu map”).
- When technical requirements do not fit within the standard products, you initiate consultation with the relevant Development Department.
- Provide technical specifications and product descriptions for tender documents
- Identify customer needs from procurement towards Development and Product management.

What we ask of you:
- You have at least a completed college education, preferably in a commercial, technical or business field.
- You have an affinity for engineering in the areas of mechanics software and electronics.
- You can clearly explain technical concepts to different stakeholders.
- You have knowledge of the waste collection industry or are willing to learn about it.
- You are practical and solution-oriented, thinking in terms of feasibility and efficiency.
- You are a good team player, working well with different departments.
