Safe bicycle parking according to German standards
The Optima Ventura DIN is designed for intensive use in locations such as stations, parking garages, residential complexes, educational institutions and public bicycle parking facilities.
With a centre-to-centre distance of 500 mm, the available space is used efficiently without compromising functionality. The aluminium wheel chutes are suitable for different tyre widths up to a maximum of 55 mm. The extendable wheel chute with rollers and the tilting mechanism with gas pressure spring allow users to place their bicycle on the upper level easily and in a controlled manner.
The Optima Ventura DIN complies with DIN 79008, the German standard for bicycle parking systems. Certification by Velotech confirms that the system is suitable for use in projects where this standard is required.
The rack is fitted as standard with tie-down facilities for the frame and front wheel, allowing the bicycle to be securely locked. When using the standard tie-down facility at the rear of the upper rack, the wheel chute is also additionally secured.
